Asynchronous Counseling
Get your questions answered by a PCC Counselor!
Our Asynchronous Counseling service is open to current and prospective PCC students. It works through our email support ticketing system, so you can ask your questions anytime and get a personalized response from a counselor.
Asynchronous Counseling by Email FAQs
When you fill out an Asynchronous Counseling request, you send your question(s) to a counselor through our email ticketing system. A counselor will review your message and reply with answers.
The more information you provide, the faster and more accurate our response will be, since we won't need to follow-up with additional questions.
If you feel your question(s) weren't fully answered, let us know. Counselors do their best, but sometimes things can get lost in translation over email.
Please note: college requirements and policies are subject to change. All replies are advisory and informational only, and do not constitute an official determination by PCC.
Not all questions can be fully answered through this service. Questions that need a lengthy response or are of a sensitive nature may require a counseling appointment instead. If that's the case, we'll let you know and let you know the next steps.
Questions you CAN ask:
- Clarification of college procedures and policies
- General certificate, degree and transfer requirements and course offerings
- Course prerequisite information (or submit an asynchronous prerequisite clearance request)
