7th Annual Future of Work Conference: Mobilizing for Recovery and Regional Renewal

In the wake of the devastating Eaton Fire, Pasadena City College invited regional leaders, educators, employers, and community partners to explore how community colleges can drive recovery and economic renewal. This half-day conference marked the official launch of a bold new coalition uniting public agencies, workforce partners, and community institutions to rebuild stronger, fairer, and more resilient systems. Through engaging panels, real-world stories, breakout discussions, and policy insights, this event spotlighted the role of education in disaster recovery and how community colleges can serve as anchor institutions in times of crisis.
